Bleicherstraße 104, 18356 Barth – Mecklenburg-VorpommernThe first time I walked up the steps from Bleicherwall into Bleicherstraße – a glance around the corner… this is where the "dwarves" live!
We essentially turned the "dwarves' house" inside out – as my construction manager used to say.
Everything was renovated, except for the exterior and load-bearing walls. Only the exterior still needs the attention and creativity of the new residents.
Now, the "dwarves' house" has grown up – it's a place to feel comfortable, a place to stay.
The house can be accessed directly from the old town (Bleicherstraße) or from the south (Bleicherwall).
The house has two floors.
On the ground floor, there is a living room, a kitchen, and a shower room with a walk-in shower. A former conservatory was integrated into the living room during the renovation, with part of a wall remaining and now used as a bench.
On the upper floor, there is a bedroom with a walk-in closet.
In addition to the large bedroom, the upper floor has a guest room or children's room, and a toilet, both of which have windows, just like the shower room on the ground floor.

Location
Barth is a small town in the Vorpommern-Rügen district of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Barth is a state-recognized resort located near the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula, on the southern shore of the Barther Bodden lagoon.
Just a few kilometers away are the famous Baltic Sea beaches of Zingst and Prerow.
Surrounding the town of Barth is an excellent network of cycling paths along the Vorpommern Bodden coast, as well as various idyllic nature trails towards the Darß peninsula.
The town of Barth offers excellent public transportation connections by train and bus. The Bart train station is the central hub. From there, the Usedomer Bäderbahn (UBB) operates to Velgast (with connections to IC and RB trains), while VVR bus lines (including line 210) connect the surrounding area and the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula.
The house was built on the old city wall of Barth.
A REWE supermarket is located nearby, as well as the harbor and the marketplace.
