The foundation of this small house, located in the city center and originally used for agricultural purposes, was most likely laid in the 18th century. Building upon the original layout, we carefully renovated and modernized the house in consultation with the historical preservation office, paying attention to many details. Today, residents enjoy the benefits of well-insulated, modern wooden windows and underfloor heating, all while experiencing the atmosphere of a historic city house. On the ground floor, to one side of the entrance area, is a spacious kitchen-living area with Italian tiles and, optionally, a kitchen unit. On the other side, there is a bathtub and a large bedroom with its own access to the courtyard. The courtyard can be transformed into a low-maintenance oasis with appropriate planting, and also provides a space for barbecues with friends and family. The first floor features two large bedrooms with ceiling heights of up to 5 meters, as well as a study/guest room. This room can be easily converted into a second bathroom thanks to the existing connections. The bedrooms are fitted with high-quality wooden floors, which give the house its historic character. The first floor is constructed using a timber frame with modern insulation and is bright and welcoming thanks to the numerous windows. There is ample storage space thanks to dormer windows on the first floor and a storage room on the ground floor.

The house is located in the historic old town of Gransee, a protected area, and is only a few minutes from the train station, with hourly connections to Berlin. You can enjoy the tranquility and beautiful natural surroundings of the Mecklenburg Lake District, and be in the center of Berlin in just under half an hour. The old town of Gransee is characterized by the late Gothic church, described by Fontane, with its renowned 18th-century organ, and is an ideal starting point for the various venues of the Brandenburg Culture Festival. The Geronsee area, located in Gransee, invites you to hike, jog, and take walks, just like the surrounding area. The town itself has all the necessary educational and service facilities, such as schools, kindergartens, supermarkets, and doctors, which are largely within walking distance. Various excursion possibilities, such as the Mildenpark brickworks park, the paragliding airfield, Meseberg Castle, or Stechliner Lake, which is also appreciated by divers for its clear water, are located nearby.
