Location
The village of Borkwalde is located in the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark, in the middle of an extensive forest area. The neighboring town of Borkheide with the RE 7 train connection, many shopping facilities, hotels, restaurants and the forest pool is only a few kilometers away.
Borkwalde has a doctor, a dentist, a physiotherapist, a pharmacy, a kindergarten and a nursing home for the elderly.
The A 9 (Munich-Berlin) and A 10 (Berliner Ring) freeways are just a few kilometers away and provide good transport links to Leipzig/Halle and Potsdam/Berlin.
