Burkersdorf is a district of the municipality of Harth-Pöllnitz in the district of Greiz in eastern Thuringia. It has 460 inhabitants (as of 2022).
The beautiful village is located on the B175 and can be reached directly via the A4 and A9 Gera/Greiz/Weida exit. Weida is the nearest town to the village, 3 km to the east. The Romanesque village church of Burkersdorf was built as a choir tower church. A stone epitaph for Oswald Roeder from 1580 is noteworthy. The last renovation of the church was carried out in 1996 with the support of the German Foundation for Monument Protection.
