The famous beaches of Usedom are only about 15 minutes away by car. The property is nestled in a lot of greenery, offering peace and tranquility in all seasons. In winter and spring, you can even see the water. The heart of the house is the approximately 50 square meter wooden terrace, which wraps around the house to the southwest, seamlessly extending the living space outdoors. Here, the day begins with a cup of coffee in the morning sun and ends with long summer evenings in the warm light of the setting sun. You can sunbathe, barbecue and celebrate with friends, watch sea eagles in the sky, or on cool winter evenings, sit together around the fire pit and roast bread on sticks. The garden offers space for playing, relaxing, or simply taking a break. It's wonderful to read, doze, or even camp under the apple tree. For guests, there is also a charming guest cottage, approximately 9 square meters in size, which provides children and friends with their own little retreat. Technically, the house is designed for comfortable year-round use. Underfloor heating, a modern heat pump with remote control, and a fiber optic connection ensure that the house is perfectly suited as a vacation home, for longer stays, or for mobile working. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring light into all the rooms, and together with the thoughtful layout, they create a bright and welcoming living atmosphere. Children will experience the kind of vacation that they will remember for years to come. During the day, they can dig in the sand on the beach, experience pirate adventures, or visit the circus. In the evening, they can fish by the water, discover frogs, or play in the garden until it slowly gets dark. Then, at night, they can go on a search for amber using a UV flashlight. This house combines the tranquility of a small fishing village with its proximity to the Baltic Sea and has a special appeal. It is one of those rare places where you feel at home almost immediately and where you always want to return. For us, it has been just such a place for many years. Neeberg itself is one of the quieter, more traditional places on the island of Usedom. This small fishing village boasts an idyllic harbor, a lovingly designed Feng Shui garden, the unique "Gallery in the Chicken Coop," a fish restaurant, and a farm shop with its own butcher's counter. Right outside the door, there are walking, cycling, and jogging paths through the vast coastal landscape. The neighboring village of Krummin complements the offerings with several cafes and restaurants, a historic church, and a picturesque harbor with houseboats and additional moorings. The well-known seaside resorts of Zinnowitz, Trassenheide, and Karlshagen are easily accessible by bike or car. Wide sandy beaches, beach bars, surf schools, spas, cozy cafes, restaurants, and numerous shops create a true Baltic Sea atmosphere. Within about 40 minutes, you can also reach the historic university and Hanseatic city of Greifswald, with its impressive brick Gothic architecture, as well as the imperial resorts of Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, and Bansin. Swinemünde, with its lively promenade and popular markets, is also just about an hour away. From Berlin or Hamburg, Neeberg can be reached by car in about three hours, or conveniently by train to the Wolgaster ferry.
