Marlene Dietrich, Max Frisch, and Günther Grass once lived here. If you're looking for a neighborhood with small cafes, excellent restaurants, narrow streets, and plenty of squares, you'll find it all in Friedenau. Just 130 meters from the apartment is the charming "Lehmbrucks" cafe, with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff (recommendation: fresh pear and mint juice). The best truffle pasta can be found at the restaurant "I Mortifami," a traditional and established Italian restaurant. There's a market near the Friedenau town hall every Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, offering a wide variety of regional products. The "Babka & Krantz" bakery makes the most delicious sweet pastries in various flavors (recommendation: poppy seed pastries). In short, Friedenau is a wonderful place to be, and it's worth visiting even outside of a stay at our apartment. Everything you need for a pleasant life is within a 5-minute walk of the apartment.
