A stepped rental agreement will be concluded. This means that the base rent will increase after one year to €1,160, after two years to €1,230, and after three years to €1,300. There will be no further increases after that. The minimum rental period is one year. I took over the apartment building, which has a total of twelve rental apartments, on April 1, 2024. From the outside, the building still looks like a typical East German building – not very attractive. However, I am gradually renovating and modernizing the building. It's not all possible at once, but bit by bit. The apartment offered for rent is in a well-maintained condition. The bathroom was completely renovated in 2024. New flooring was installed in the rooms on the 2nd floor in 2024 and 2026. Stepping through the apartment door, you'll find a separate staircase to the attic on the left. This leads to a very spacious and bright bedroom, which also offers further possibilities for use (e.g., a workspace, a dressing area). The two skylights will be replaced in the coming months. On the second floor, directly behind the staircase, is another bedroom. Beyond that, you'll find access to a similarly spacious living room, which is open-plan with a kitchen area. There is currently no built-in kitchen. If you are interested, as the landlord, I can arrange for the short-term installation of a new built-in kitchen, and we can agree on a moderate rent increase. Also accessible from the living room is a large terrace. At the very back of the hallway is the large bathroom. All rooms have windows.
