Living in the suburbs, close to nature: 2-room apartment in Bennigsen – Private housing cooperative.
Süllbergring, 31832 Springe-Bennigsen (Bennigsen) – NiedersachsenIn Springe, the private housing cooperative "Zur Schille eG" is constructing 50 modern and well-designed multi-family homes, comprising a total of 50 new apartments with two to four rooms, living areas ranging from approximately 48 to 103 square meters. The homes will be built using energy-efficient and sustainable methods (KfW EH-40 with QNG-PLUS certification), and each roof will have its own photovoltaic system. The entrances are oriented towards a large communal area to encourage interaction, and a centrally located community center will foster a sense of community within the private housing cooperative. The 2-room apartment offered here is located in Building A, which has a view to the west along its long side – offering a unique "relaxing" atmosphere at sunset. The apartment features a spacious living and dining area, providing a sense of openness, while the second room offers a private retreat. Both rooms connect to a generous terrace. During the day, natural light floods the apartments through floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. A storage room, a walk-in closet, and a barrier-free shower bathroom complete the comfortable living space, which is approximately 50 square meters in size. The finishing touch is the small terrace located on the top floor – perfect for quiet moments after work or for conversations with friends. During the planning and construction phases, emphasis is placed on healthy building practices and avoiding the use of environmentally harmful or health-damaging substances or materials. At the beginning of the construction phase, key elements such as flooring can be selected from a range of models to suit individual tastes. The stairwell houses storage rooms, while the ground floor includes a utility room and the technical equipment for the photovoltaic system. There are also ample parking spaces for cars and bicycles. Construction is expected to begin at the end of 2026, with completion in 2027. This apartment is accessible with a housing entitlement certificate (WBS). We would be happy to explain the steps involved in obtaining this funding. Other apartments are available without a WBS – please feel free to contact us!

Information on equipment
During the planning and construction phases, emphasis is placed on healthy building practices and avoiding the use of substances or materials that are harmful to the environment or health. At the beginning of the construction phase, important elements, such as flooring, can be selected from presented models to match individual preferences. However, the real value lies in the inner qualities and advantages of a private housing cooperative. Living in a private housing cooperative offers the security of owning a home and the flexibility of renting. As a member, you acquire a permanent right of use for an individual, modern apartment, in which you will live as part of a close-knit community.
THE ADVANTAGES OF A PRIVATE HOUSING COOPERATIVE:
–> Community: A vibrant and social environment, mutual support, and trust.
–> Security: A permanent right of use for an individual apartment, protection against termination due to the cooperative's own needs.
–> Participation: Collective decision-making within the community, individual freedom to design your apartment.
–> Affordability: The cooperative has no profit motive, no "landlord's arbitrary actions," and provides socially supported housing.
Location
Southwest of the state capital, Hanover, lies the charming town of Springe, with approximately 30,000 residents in its catchment area and a suburban character. The district of Bennigsen, located to the northeast and with around 4,300 residents, stands out for its peaceful atmosphere on the southern slope of the Süllberg, offering many opportunities to create a long-term future with a high quality of life. The advantages:
TRANSPORT LINKS WITHIN THE REGIONAL TRIANGLE OF HANNOVER – HAMELN – HILDESHEIM
Commuters and professionals appreciate the excellent transport links to the state capital, Hanover (22 km), whether by car or suburban train. The B217, A4, and A2 motorways are within a 10 to 20-minute drive. The international airport is reachable by car in under an hour. The suburban train station is a few minutes' walk away – potentially saving you the need for a second car. EVERYTHING ESSENTIAL FOR A GOOD LIFE
In Springe and Bennigsen, everything is well-organized: Essential infrastructure is available within a 15-minute radius, including two supermarkets within walking distance, a gas station, a pharmacy, doctors' offices, an outdoor swimming pool, restaurants, and cafes, a sports hall, and various clubs. The needs of young families are also catered to: Several kindergartens and schools, as well as leisure activities, help children to grow up in a stable environment and develop well.
**CLOSE TO NATURE FOR ACTIVE LEISURE ACTIVITIES**
Even the old Hanovarian aristocratic families found enjoyment in the historical landscape of the Calenberger Land and at the Deisterpforte. It is still a very pleasant place to live today – the diverse landscape of the Lower Saxony mountains and hills, and the North German lowlands, offers numerous opportunities to relax or be active. Whether hiking, cycling, or other outdoor activities, cultural events such as music festivals, or a visit to a historic estate, active leisure is a breeze here!
