Nice room in a shared apartment, located in the old town.

We are currently looking for a fourth person to join our shared apartment in the city center, near the marketplace. The apartment is located on the 1st floor of a beautiful old building. Your room is on the south side of the apartment, has two large windows, and overlooks the Neckarinsel (an island in the Neckar river) and the Stiftsgarten (a garden). The room stays cool in the summer and warms up nicely and evenly in the winter. The French windows allow for excellent control of light. Because the apartment is in a half-timbered house, you won't find any perfect right angles. The floor and everything else is slightly crooked ;). The only downside of the room is that it's located behind the bathroom. Therefore, you always have to walk through the bathroom to get to your room or leave it. However, this isn't a problem because of the opaque shower curtains. We always knock when the bathroom door is closed before walking through. Since the door to the room is thin, you can hear someone showering. If this bothers you, you can use an anti-noise mat to mitigate the sound. It has never really bothered me. By the way, the toilet is a separate room attached to the bathroom. If you wish, you can take over the furniture at a reasonable price. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, and features a gas stove and oven. It's spacious enough for game nights. The kitchen has plenty of storage space, but we also have a separate storage room for extra food, supplies, and other household items. The bathroom has storage, a shower, and a top-loading washing machine. The basement offers space for larger storage items, such as tables, bicycles, winter/summer sports equipment, and other belongings. We also have a small garden facing south with a view of the Neckar river. We use this garden together with the other residents of the house. Currently, there are three of us living in the apartment: two men and a woman. Ulli (m, 28) is studying medicine and enjoys playing board games in his free time. He also likes to go bouldering and travels extensively around the world. Aleks (m, 32) is studying archaeology. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, such as kendo, and is diligently learning German. I (f, 40) work in a restaurant. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in our garden, hiking, painting, watching series, or playing computer games. We are a social shared apartment; however, loud gatherings or parties are not common. The apartment is a non-smoking residence. We do not have our own parking space in the building, but residents have the option to apply for a parking permit from the city and park in the surrounding area.

Location:
The shared apartment is located in the heart of the old town, at the foot of the castle hill, on the quiet Neckarhalde street. Despite being in the old town, it is very quiet. You can reach the marketplace in just one minute. The nearest bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. The train station is 10 minutes away, and the university is 15 minutes. The outdoor swimming pool is also 15 minutes away.

Shared Apartment Life:
There are 3 people living in the shared apartment. We are between 32 and 40 years old.
Life in the shared apartment is very pleasant, as we get along well and are considerate of each other. The apartment has a large kitchen with a dishwasher, where we sometimes eat together spontaneously or drink coffee. There is also a separate storage room where we store cleaning supplies and food, etc. The building also has a small garden that invites you to relax. We also have a cleaning schedule, of course.
