The apartment is located in an excellent, quiet, and central residential area in the heart of Zündorf. All shopping facilities and connections to public transportation are within immediate proximity, as are doctors, all types of schools, kindergartens, and the nearby recreational area "Groov." Public transportation:
The final stop of tram line 7, heading towards Cologne city center, is nearby. Several bus lines (providing direct connections to the S-Bahn suburban railway, with connections to Cologne Central Station and in the direction of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg) are reachable within a few minutes on foot. The airport, DLR (German Aerospace Center), and Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) locations are also easily accessible by public transportation. From March to October, Zündorf is also connected to the left bank of the Rhine, Cologne-Weiß, via a ferry service to the right bank, Cologne-Zündorf. Other transportation connections:
Motorways in all directions, an S-Bahn connection, and the airport (also accessible by public transportation) are reachable within a few minutes. Zündorf is one of the most popular districts on the right bank of the Rhine and offers excellent leisure opportunities thanks to the beautiful green spaces of the "Freizeitinsel Groov" and the Rhine itself. Just across the street from the apartment, you'll find idyllic streets lined with half-timbered houses, leading directly to the Cologne recreational area known as "Freizeitinsel Groov," with its two inland waterways, and the Rhine. The Groov offers plenty of green space, large lawns with trees for sunbathing and relaxation, sandy beaches on the Rhine, a nearby municipal outdoor and indoor swimming pool with a sauna, a boat rental service, beautiful walking paths, inviting beer gardens and restaurants, a mini-golf course, and the Zündorf marina. You can enjoy excellent jogging, inline skating, or cycling along the paths that run along the Rhine, all the way to Cologne and Bonn.
