•Temporary rental from a private individual: currently a minimum of 2 months, maximum 12 months.
The legal situation may change before the rental agreement is signed, according to "Rental Law II," potentially extending the maximum duration to 6 months, up to a total of 8 months.
•A reason must generally be provided for why you wish to rent an apartment for a limited time. This could be because you are involved in a project at the airbase, need a "break," your primary residence is undergoing renovations due to water/fire damage, you have terminated your lease and the house you purchased is not yet habitable, you are an exhibitor/employee at an event like the State Garden Show, you are a retiree and want to spend some time away from your usual surroundings, etc.
•Credit check for tenants or proof of funds.
•Cleaning costs:
€75 one-time fee if the apartment is in normal condition. If the apartment is absolutely clean and suitable for rental, there is no charge. If the apartment is in a very poor state, a cleaning company will be hired, and the costs will be borne by the tenant.
•Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be the responsibility of the tenant.
The rental price is for one person; each additional person is €50 (plus a maximum of 2).
Wallbox (standard charging) is possible by arrangement (the price corresponds to the current basic rate of the energy supplier e.on, plus a €0.05/kWh service fee).
