Charming guesthouse in the Harz region / Bad Grund. After thirteen wonderful years running our "Pension Hamburg" with a lot of passion, it's time for us to retire. Our guesthouse is located directly on the hillside, next to the mining museum (a UNESCO World Heritage site), in a quiet cul-de-sac. With a total of 10 cozy guest rooms (4 single rooms, 4 double rooms, and 1 triple room), and a manager's apartment of approximately 80 square meters, the property offers not only a livelihood but a real home. Each room is modernly furnished and equipped with Wi-Fi, allowing guests to stay connected. The tasteful decor and amenities ensure a pleasant stay. The guesthouse also features a separate lounge area, a large sun balcony, and a coffee terrace as well as a barbecue area. The gas heating system is in good condition, although it could be replaced. It's not a top-of-the-line system with a heat pump, etc. The guesthouse is fully operational and equipped, and can be easily continued without interruption. Coming from the north or south, take the A7 motorway from Hanover to Kassel, and exit at Seesen. Then, continue on the B243 federal road (a fast road towards Osterode) to the exit for Clausthal-Zellerfeld/ Bad Grund.

If you are coming from the south, the best route is via Kassel and Göttingen to Seesen. There are also good connections from the Rhineland/Ruhr area and Westphalia.

Coming from the east, take the route via Hasselfelde, Braunlage, Clausthal-Zellerfeld, on the B242 federal road (the Harz Hochstraße) to the exit for Bad Grund.

Coming from the west, take the A7 motorway from Dortmund to Kassel and Hanover, and exit at Seesen. Then, continue on the B243 federal road (a fast road towards Osterode) to the exit for Clausthal-Zellerfeld/ Bad Grund.
