This house is part of the well-known estate designed by Bruno Taut and has been completely renovated over a period of one and a half years, in close consultation with the Berlin historical preservation office.
The renovation was overseen by an architect, with great care and attention to detail, which is evident in the house today.
All technical installations have been renewed: electricity, heating (gas), plumbing, bathrooms, floors, windows (new double-glazed windows replicating the original design), a new front door, facade, ceilings, and walls.
At the same time, the original character of the house has not only been preserved, but consciously emphasized – through bleached wooden floors, exposed ceiling beams, a restored original staircase, and original doors.
Bisazza mosaic tiles were used in the bathrooms. The house will now be sold upon completion of the renovations.
We will not be moving in ourselves.
The garden faces south and is located in a quiet area. The Krumme Lanke lake is approximately ten minutes away on foot.

When selecting the materials, great care was taken to ensure quality and consistency. The wooden floors were bleached and oiled, the original staircase was restored, and the original doors were preserved.
The ceiling beams were exposed, which is a special detail that gives the house a unique character.
Location
The house is located in Dahlem, one of the quietest and greenest areas of Berlin. The street is a residential area with very little through traffic, plenty of trees, and a neighborhood that has maintained its character for decades. Forests and other lakes are within walking distance, as is the Krumme Lanke. It's also conveniently located for daily needs, with shops, schools, and kindergartens nearby. The S-Bahn and U-Bahn are also easily accessible and provide excellent connections to the rest of the city – without any noise or disruption.
