The initial building records date back well before 1849, although there are no further detailed documents available. In 1898, the "Ruhwarden" citizens' association was founded in the restaurant located in the "Ruhwarder Hof." Originally, there were two separate restaurants – one for the wealthier patrons and one for the working class. The appearance of the building has changed dramatically over the years. It is constructed using solid brickwork and features a red brick facade. There has been no restaurant operating in the building for 15 years, and the apartments are permanently rented out. The sign "Ruhwarder Hof" above the entrance has been preserved as a historical reminder and a small monument. According to the energy performance certificate, which is valid until October 17, 2027, a major renovation took place in 1987. Further extensive renovations, including the replacement of utility lines, were carried out in 2012 and up to 2017. Almost all of the old wooden windows were completely replaced with new plastic windows in the years following the energy performance certificate's issuance, which is why the old values are not listed in the data sheet on the initial description. Ruhwarden, and therefore this building, is connected to the public sewage system, which is a significant advantage compared to similar properties. During the construction work carried out in 2017, the existing adjacent rooms were also renovated and completely modernized. In addition to the mentioned 3-room apartment, there is also a 2-room apartment with 72 square meters. A 1-room apartment with a bathroom/toilet is also located on the ground floor.
