Zeil am Main is a small town in Lower Franconia, located at the southern foothills of the Haßberge mountains, near the Main river. This medieval town offers a variety of half-timbered buildings around its unique market square, as well as the "Zeiler Hexenturm" (a documentation center on the persecution of witches), parts of the preserved town wall, the ruins of Schmachtenberg, and the Zeiler Käppele chapel, which offers a beautiful view of the Main valley. The town is surrounded by vineyards and is therefore known for its wine products, as well as for a long-established brewery.
