Just a short drive from Dortmund, in the Sauerland region, lies the picturesque village of Nordenau. Here, you'll find this beautiful apartment, a haven of tranquility. Surrounded by forests and mountains, with a wide view over a valley, this is a place to relax. The sheltered, sunny balcony, facing southeast, is perfect for spending time. The well-maintained apartment, with an area of 74 square meters, is located on the 1st floor of a detached complex with 10 apartments. This complex was built in 1970. After a thorough renovation and complete refurbishment in 1998, this original guesthouse was divided into separate apartments. Since last year, we have installed an energy-efficient boiler with radiators. Because the complex is not located in a holiday park, it is not subject to the associated restrictions/rules and additional costs. Furthermore, this allowed us to offer our apartment as an exchange property through an international apartment exchange organization. This way, we were able to enjoy many other places in Europe for free (in addition to Nordenau, of course). The apartment is also suitable for rental. It consists of a living room, a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom with a toilet, and can accommodate six people. The (sleeping) sofa in the living room can be used as an additional sleeping space. All in all, it is an ideal starting point for relaxation, hiking, cycling, golf, skiing, and various other (winter) sports. And all this so close to the Ruhr metropolis.

We offer you a beautiful apartment with a view of the spa park in Nordenau, just 10 km from Winterberg. It is located in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle, but still central, close to the ski area. Furthermore, it is only 8 km from one of the most beautiful landscape golf courses in Germany, located in Schmallenberg.

With its half-timbered houses, Nordenau is one of the most authentic villages in the Sauerland region and is also known as the "Pearl of the Sauerland." The village is famous for its clean air and therefore holds the special and coveted status of a "state-recognized spa town."

In addition, there is the unique slate mine, which is world-renowned for its unique spring and its supposed healing properties for body and mind.
