When we moved in in 1995, the house was insulated internally, and it received new electrical wiring and new water pipes. In 2004, it was sealed externally, and shortly after, it was given a new roof. Inside, the rooms on the upper floor were renovated to suit our family's needs, and the kitchen was opened up to the dining room.
The floors in the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom have underfloor heating. The remaining wooden floors and the staircase, with the exception of one room, have been sanded and varnished. The staircase is paneled with light wood, and the attic has pine paneling on the walls and wooden flooring.

Living where others go on their weekend getaways. In the forest and yet central.
Open the front door and stand in the forest, but be on the bus in 5 minutes or on the subway in 10 minutes. In the subway station, the historic shopping street with its pharmacy, Aldi, Nahkauf, health food store and coffee roastery offers everything you need for everyday life.
Or you can walk the 500 m to the banks of the Krumme Lanke lake in your bathrobe and go swimming, jogging or just for a walk.
By car, for which there are plenty of parking spaces and even an e-charging station within easy reach, it is about 20 minutes to Ku-Damm or 30 minutes to Potsdam.
