Because the apartment is located at the end of the building, every room receives natural light – it faces southwest. In the summer, the apartment doesn't get too hot because a tree provides shade, and you have electric external blinds. In the winter, it doesn't get cold because the building is well-insulated (including the floor). To be honest, there is no balcony, but there is a very large, well-maintained garden and a portion of the land that you can use as you wish.

We want to rent out an apartment in which we would also feel comfortable ourselves. That's why we've not only invested in the technology (new power cables, fuses, water pipes), but also bought you a complete kitchen with plenty of storage space and equipped with high-quality electrical appliances (fridge, induction hob, oven, microwave AND dishwasher) from a specialist dealer.
We have also had a new bathroom with shower/bathtub installed, which could well be described as a "wellness temple" - okay, the latter is perhaps a bit of an exaggeration. Take a look at the apartment yourself and see for yourself.
You also have your own very large, renovated cellar room (approx. 8 m²) with connections for washing machine and dryer. There is also a shared laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer (both from Miele). You can wash and dry there for 50 cents. In the apartment you will of course find a small storage room for a vacuum cleaner, clothes horse and ironing board or supplies. However, it looks bigger on the floor plan than it actually is.
A 1000 Mbit/s internet connection is available via the Vodafone cable network.
Location
A 5-minute walk away you will find: Rewe, Aldi AND Edeka as well as a bakery, a hairdresser, a burger restaurant, a kiosk and all kinds of other stores for your daily needs. A Lidl supermarket is approx. 10 minutes' walk away.
The Berne subway station (U1) is 8 minutes away by bike.
The Oldenfelde subway station (U1) is 5 minutes away by bike.
You can reach Berne subway station in 6 minutes on the 17 bus or Farmsen subway station in 7 minutes on the 171 bus.
The Berner Au with the Berner See and the Berner Gutspark are close by
