Very quiet forest location in a side street of Bendestorf. The village is about 25 kilometers south of the center of Hamburg and has about 2,500 inhabitants.
The community has a very good infrastructure and is considered one of the most beautifully situated places in the southern catchment area of Hamburg.
The town has a mature structure with spacious, upmarket buildings. It also has very good local amenities with appropriate shopping facilities and doctors' surgeries.
The local clubs offer a wide range of leisure activities. There is a large riding facility, two golf courses, a tennis court, soccer pitches and a heated outdoor pool in the immediate vicinity.
The transport connections to the metropolis of Hamburg are very good: it takes about 30 minutes by car to reach the center of Hamburg. Klecken train station is less than 10 minutes away and from here the hourly train takes a good 20 minutes to Hamburg main station
