Braunlage is located in the middle of the Harz Nature and National Park with the famous mountains Wurmberg, Achtermann and Brocken (1141m high). The center of Braunlage can be reached in 10 minutes on foot from the apartment. Hiking trails in the direction of Wurmberg start at the front door. The impressive Naturmythenpfad is only a 25-minute walk away. Other places of interest can be reached quickly:
