The property is located in Thiendorf, a municipality in the district of Meißen.
The village is rural and yet centrally located with its own highway exit on the A13 (Dresden/Berlin) - a big plus of the place!
Due to the public transport connection (bus), the larger cities are easy to reach. Within a few minutes Radeburg, Großenhain, Königsbrück and Ortrand can be reached. Approximately 30 km away are Dresden, Riesa and Meißen, Kamenz respectively. The surrounding area invites you to hikes or short walks - popular destinations are the dream castle Schönfeld, the Zschornaer pond area with the natural swimming pool Brettmühlenteich but also the Königsbrücker Heide.
Directly at the highway exit there are two gas stations, Burger King and MC Donalds and there is a hotel, an inn with pension and a gourmet restaurant.
Despite the rural location, the infrastructure of the village is very pronounced. Tiendorf has the supermarket Netto, a day care center as well as a hairdresser, a police station and a DRK rescue station plus day care. A senior citizens' residence is also planned. In the neighboring villages there are schools as well as dentists and general practitioners.
The community of Thiendorf is also well positioned in terms of sports. The sports facility invites to soccer, volleyball, bowling, dancing and darts for all age groups. There are plenty of hiking and biking trails.
