Fishing village Ditzum: comfortable living on the top floor

The historic dairy building was extensively refurbished to achieve KfW Efficiency House Standard 70-EE. This means that the building is 30% better than the new-build standard according to the German Building Energy Act. The proportion of renewable energies is therefore more than 65%.
The building has four residential units on the ground floor and four on the upper floor, of which the four street-side apartments and one garden-side apartment have already been sold.
Each of the four upper-floor apartments has its own flair, a roof terrace and barrier-free access via a handicapped-accessible elevator.
The entire building has been newly clad with core-insulated facing brickwork in the historic cross bond.
The windows and French doors with segmental arches were replaced with double-insulated wooden windows with cross-muntin bars.
The interior masonry was completely plastered with new lime plaster.
The heating and hot water supply is provided by a brine-water heat pump with four geothermal probes.
An apartment transfer station was installed in each apartment so that all energy costs can be billed separately for each apartment.

The apartment building is located approx. 200 m after the entrance to Ditzum and has a character that defines the village.
The infrastructure of Ditzum is within walking distance.
Opposite the building is the multifunctional square with parking facilities and two e-charging stations.
