"Assisted Living" – Relaxed living for seniors, exclusively for individuals over 60 years of age.

In our assisted living facility in Sheridan Park, the "AWONIA Gesellschaft für Wohnen und Pflege im Alter mbH" will be responsible for the care of the residents. AWO is a recognized non-profit organization, and as a subsidiary of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt in Augsburg-Pfersee, it operates the "Christian-Dierig-Haus" senior center on Kirchbergstraße. This allows for the optimal use of available resources for all residents. In our development project, AWO also operates a centrally located care office that is staffed at fixed times. A qualified and dedicated contact person with a background in social work is available to provide advice and support. As part of the basic services and the monthly care fee, the caregiver will assist residents in various ways, including:

* 24-hour emergency call service
* A dedicated contact person with fixed consultation hours in the building
* Assistance with official matters
* Referral and organization of support services (e.g.,). (Foot care, physiotherapy, hairdresser, laundry service, apartment cleaning, shopping, medication, etc.)
Key storage service. Organization of assistance in case of illness and upon discharge from the hospital. The monthly care package for a single-person household is €112. This package includes on-call service and emergency assistance, including the rental of the necessary equipment. The care service facilitates, coordinates, and arranges the following optional services provided by the AWO:
In-home nursing and elderly care. Medication administration. Household services. Securing a day care place at the Christian-Dierig-Haus. The AWO guarantees all owners and tenants of our assisted living facility preferential admission to the inpatient care facility at the "Christian-Dierig-Haus" in Augsburg-Pfersee, located on Kirchbergstraße.
