Hořiněves Castle is located just 15 km from Hradec Králové (8 minutes from the D11 highway, connecting Prague and Jaroměř). Situated in a beautiful setting in the village of Hořiněves, the castle features a multi-story building with a vast, newly renovated park and a pond. The location is convenient, with a pleasant pub serving traditional Czech cuisine and good beer just a few steps away. You may even be invited to a pig roast or other local delicacies. A general store is open 7 days a week, and there is also a Z-box, a post office, the local government office, a library, a children's playground, and a football field. The village has an active association of firefighters, footballers, and hunters. The village regularly hosts cultural and social events, such as markets, the welcoming of St. Martin's Day, parades, dances, and exhibitions.
