The house is located in the Harburger Berge forest recreation area. It offers plenty of space with two floors plus a basement/garden level, and has good transport links. The house was built in 1981, purchased by us in 1983, and will be sold privately, without commission, after we move into a care home. With a total of 8 rooms, the house can be occupied by a family with children or as a multi-generational home. The older generation will appreciate the level access flooring on the ground floor and the existing stairlifts. The self-contained apartment in the basement, with its own entrance, can be rented out or used as an office, or even for business purposes. There are two parking spaces on the property for guests/visitors or a motorhome, in addition to the existing double garage. The ground floor is designed to meet the needs of a couple, with a living room (38 m²), dining room (12 m²), bedroom (25 m²), utility room (4.5 m²), kitchen (11 m²), bathroom/WC (8 m²), and a guest toilet. The south-facing terrace can be accessed from the living room or kitchen.

The house is located in the southern part of the city of Hamburg, in the Harburg district, specifically in the Hausbruch neighborhood. It's situated on the border between a more sparsely populated residential area and the extensive forests and landscapes of the Harburg Hills.

Transportation: By car, the A7 motorway in both the northern (Hausbruch entrance) and southern (A7/A261/A1 – Marmstorf/Lürade entrance) directions are easily accessible, practically without having to navigate city traffic. A bus stop in front of the neighboring property provides service to the Neuwiedenthal S-Bahn station (S3/S5). The walk to the S-Bahn station takes approximately 15 minutes. It's also possible to cycle to Neuwiedenthal using dedicated bike paths.

Infrastructure: Within a radius of up to 1 km, you'll find: a supermarket, a butcher shop, a grill restaurant, and a pub. In the Neuwiedenthal local shopping center (approximately 2.5 km away), there are: doctors, a pharmacy, a bakery, supermarkets, and the Galeria Neuwiedenthal department store.

Schools: Grundschule An der Haake (approximately 1.5 km), Gymnasium Süderelbe (approximately 3 km), and the Rudolf Steiner School Harburg (approximately 500 m) are all nearby.

Recreation: The adjacent forest offers opportunities for activities and excursions. Within walking distance are destinations such as the Neugrabener and Fischbeker Heide heathlands, the Kiekeberg open-air museum, and the Schwarze Berge wildlife park. The "Alte Land" region is easily accessible by bicycle.
