We are renting out a 3-room attic apartment of approximately 50 m² in a good location in Offenbach am Main, which still needs renovation. Instead of fully renovating it and renting it out at a high price, we're taking a different approach: you design your future home yourself – and we cover the cost of the materials. The concept in a nutshell: you contribute your time, skills, and ideas, and we provide the materials, expertise, and 5 months of rent-free living during the renovation phase.

What we provide:
* Complete material costs, after prior agreement: flooring, wallpaper, drywall, paint, tiles, sanitary fixtures, and electrical materials.
* 5 months of rent-free living during the renovation phase.
* Dedicated support for heavy work and technical questions – you won't be alone on the construction site.

What you contribute:
* Painting, flooring installation, drywall work, and assembly, all done by yourself.
* Prior experience in crafts and your own tools.
* An interest in a long-term rental agreement.

Electricity: You plan, the specialist company implements.
The entire electrical system will be completely renewed during the renovation. You get to decide where the sockets, switches, and light fixtures are located – anyone who has ever lived in an apartment with only two sockets per room knows how valuable that is. After consultation, you can install the chases and flush-mounted boxes yourself. However, the installation, wiring, and final inspection must be carried out by a qualified electrical company. This concept is already being implemented.
The apartment on the same floor is rented out according to this model and is currently being renovated by the new tenant. So, we know that it works – and you'll be part of a community that understands why the power tools are running on weekends.
