For almost a year, we have been fulfilling that promise: a new roof, complete insulation to modern standards, triple-glazed wooden Danebrock windows, a modern gas condensing boiler, and a new, self-contained biological wastewater treatment system. The old Hamburg tile stove, with its green glazed tiles, has been preserved – a quiet, beautiful detail that provides warmth without being the focal point. What was essential to the character of the house has been preserved. Everything else has been reimagined. A house that breathes. The result is a home with a modern, open feel: spacious, bright rooms, an open-plan kitchen with direct access to the terrace, and alternating floors of warm wood parquet and cool blue stone. The kitchen – a custom-made piece by a carpenter – is modern and equipped with high-quality appliances. On the ground floor, there is one bathroom, and on the upper floor, there is another bathroom and two bedrooms. An interior designer has given the house its final, unique character: restored antiques are combined with modern furniture, carefully selected design objects, and artwork – a composition that you won't find anywhere else.
