Large, sunny room in a shared apartment with 3 people, located in the historic city center of Mainz.

Starting September 1st, a room in a shared apartment (WG) will become available in the beautiful old town of Mainz! The room is approximately 26 m² in size, and the share of the common areas is 37.42 m², resulting in a base rent of €550. In addition, there are €126 for operating costs, plus electricity, internet, and the GEZ (broadcasting fee). As is common in many shared apartments, there is a one-time fee for the existing kitchen, appliances such as a washing machine or refrigerator, and furniture in the common areas (more details on this will be provided in person by one of the current residents).

The current shared apartment consists of two young women. The residents hope that future shared living will be harmonious and uncomplicated. Mutual consideration is important, as is a sense of responsibility and tolerance. A weekly rotating cleaning schedule has proven to be effective, and so far, the residents have always fairly shared general expenses. Discriminatory and right-wing ideologies have never had a place in our shared apartment, and that is how it will remain.

This beautiful apartment is located in the old town of Mainz, between Schillerplatz and Kupferbergterrassen. The location couldn't be better! The public transportation connections are excellent. The Schillerplatz stop is less than five minutes away on foot. The main train station is also only about ten minutes away. It takes approximately fifteen minutes by tram to reach the university, and the city center (Domplatz) is within walking distance. There are numerous shopping options just around the corner (Rewe, Penny, Netto, Alnatura, and more). In addition, you'll find a variety of bars, cafes, and restaurants nearby. Despite being located in the heart of the city and having all these amenities within easy reach, the apartment is situated on a very quiet side street with little traffic.
