We are a community of people with a shared spirit, but with diverse academic backgrounds and skills. We are currently studying medicine, rhetoric, business administration, history, law, and Sinology, and we come from all over Germany, France, and Belgium. This creates exciting connections and opportunities. You would never make such connections so quickly at the university. We are "Corps students" and call ourselves "Tübinger Franken." More information on that topic later. Student rooms have become available again in the Tübinger Franken house, which was renovated three years ago, and in an apartment on Fritz-Bauer Street. The rooms are furnished with a pull-out sofa bed, wardrobe, and desk. There is also space for your own furniture. In addition to your room, you can use the entire spacious house. Highlights:
The large terrace with a fantastic view over the Südstadt district to the Swabian Alb. And our own punt boat. "Punting" in a boat is something that can only be done in Tübingen, Cambridge, and Oxford, and it's called "punting" there. Additional features:
- High-speed internet and "old-school" newspaper reading, such as Spiegel, Cicero, etc.
- The kitchen and dining area.
- A gym and sauna.
- Space for a car or two bicycles.

Who we are and who lives here? Feel free to contact me, Tim, Amadeus, Constantin, Sean, and others, to get to know us. We are looking forward to meeting open-minded students. We are students and alumni from Tübingen who support each other, network, and – not least – often become lifelong friends. While platforms like XING and LinkedIn are helpful, we also exist in "real life." We enjoy parties, but we also strive to create something together, organize joint activities, facilitate exchange between different degree programs, and organize events and parties together. For us, this, alongside hard work, is an essential part of student life. Especially during intensive periods, the study room with screens and a printer provides a valuable space for focused work. You don't have to read this, but you can... And what does that specifically mean – a "Corps" student? "Corps" are the oldest student associations still in existence in Central Europe. The "Corps" have never been politically active, but have always been organized democratically. From the very beginning, and still today, the youngest members have held the most influence. Where someone comes from is as irrelevant to us as their skin color, religion, or favorite Bundesliga team. On the contrary, we believe that diversity is important and enriching. Currently, we have students from Germany, Belgium, and France. Our alumni also live not only in Germany, but all over the world. Why do we call ourselves "Franken"? That's another story – not a secret, but too long for this introduction.

The Tübingen Frankenhaus is located on the lower slopes of Österberg, essentially still within the city center. Therefore, it's only a 7-minute walk to the town hall square, the new auditorium, the university library, the cafeteria, and the Neckarinsel (river island).

The nearest bus stop is 140 meters away. You can find groceries at the Nonnenhaus, which is a 5-minute walk away. The train station is a 12-minute walk.
