We are selling our farm because it's drawing us back to the city – not out of necessity, but by choice. On the extensive property, three horses have lived alongside goats and sheep in the large pasture with a shelter. In addition, there is a separate enclosure with an adjacent outdoor area, which is ideal for housing other animals – we previously housed three raccoons here with the proper permits. Two additional stables offer space for chickens or other small animals. The main house has 250 square meters of living space and is divided into a ground floor and an upper floor, both with their own bathrooms. Directly adjacent to the courtyard is a meadow of approximately 7,000 m² – a wonderful place for breakfast with animal companions: Our horses often cast a curious glance over the wall towards our table. The house is fully basemented, providing additional storage space and potential uses.

The farm is located in the idyllic village of Niebede, near Nauen, nestled in a peaceful and natural environment, far from traffic and everyday noise. The village is approximately 12 kilometers southwest of Nauen and about 10 kilometers northwest of Ketzin (as the crow flies), and it is characterized by its rural tranquility and scenic beauty. Niebede was founded as a "Rundling" – a settlement designed in a circular shape – a characteristic architectural form for medieval villages in this region. The first documented mention of the village dates back to 1179, under the name "Nibeden," and was prompted by the transfer of tithes to the Cathedral Chapter of Brandenburg. Historically, the village belonged to the Havelland district of the Mark Brandenburg. In the early 19th century, in 1801, part of Niebede was still owned by noble landowners, while another part remained under the control of the Cathedral Chapter of Brandenburg. As a result of several administrative reforms, Niebede is now, as a district of Wachow, part of the city of Nauen. Although Niebede is only connected to the public transportation network by bus, the transportation links are still exceptionally good. The nearby federal highway, B5, provides access to Berlin in approximately 30 minutes – typically without stress and with minimal traffic congestion. In addition, the train stations in Nauen and Wustermark offer excellent rail connections, providing quick access to Berlin, Potsdam, and other regions.
