We purchased the house with its attached garage and adjacent hall in 2015 and have lovingly renovated it over many years. We were particularly keen to restore the original character. The following have been completely renovated or largely renewed:

- The roof has been completely retiled.
- The roof structure has been repaired and reinforced.
- The roof insulation was historically installed using clay and hemp-jute.
- The chimney stacks have been rebuilt and reclad.
