The large terrace, approximately 50 square meters, is perfect for relaxing, barbecuing, or light gardening; there are several raised garden beds on the property. A wooden shed is located on each side of the garden, providing storage space for items like a lawnmower. The garden is also fenced, which will be appreciated by dog owners. There is ample parking space for multiple cars, as well as a large extension that serves as a workshop and hobby room, approximately 50 square meters in size. Additionally, the floor-to-ceiling windows in many areas provide easy access to the outdoors. The modern kitchen, specially designed by Vogt from Treia, is very spacious and offers plenty of room for all types of cooking. This is supported by an extra-large induction cooktop. The oven and steam oven are at eye level to make it easy to remove dishes. The dishwasher is new and boasts an A+++ rating.

The village has bakeries and good shopping facilities, with various supermarkets and discount stores, some of which are open on Sundays. Restaurants and several cafes provide dining options. Süderlügum also has a gas station and a VR Bank. Medical care is provided by a pediatrician, a general practitioner, and a dentist; further doctors and a hospital are located in Niebüll, approximately 13 km away. Süderlügum has good rail connections to Niebüll, making it attractive for commuters to Sylt. The ferry terminal in Dagebüll, for the North Sea islands of Föhr and Amrum, is only 25 km away. By car, you can reach the larger city of Flensburg, along the Danish border, in about half an hour.
