Beautiful apartment in a historic building, located in the Schillerkiez neighborhood.

This apartment is a dream! It's located on the 2nd floor and has an ideal layout. A spacious hallway leads to two separate, bright rooms, a large kitchen, and a small bathroom with a shower. The living room, which faces the street, is south-facing, approximately 19 square meters in size, and has access to a small balcony. The bedroom overlooks the quiet courtyard, is about 20 square meters, and faces north. Both rooms feature subtle, beautiful stucco ceilings and characteristic arched windows with soundproofing (historically necessary due to its proximity to the former Tempelhof airport). The windows are truly fantastic because they completely block out any noise. The apartment building and courtyard are very quiet. Many residents own their apartments, and there's an active homeowners' association that provides good suggestions and incentives. The courtyard will soon be redesigned, and among other things, more bicycle parking spaces will be created. The apartment was partially renovated at the end of 2012. The following work was carried out: The bathroom was completely retiled, and the shower, toilet, and sink were replaced, along with new ceiling lights and a towel radiator. The apartment is currently perfectly habitable, but some minor renovation work would significantly improve it: painting, potentially sanding the parquet flooring, and replacing some broken tiles in the bathroom and kitchen. Just a short walk across the small Leinestraße and you're immediately surrounded by greenery, in the Anita-Berber-Park with its large plane trees. If you turn left from there, you'll reach the U8 Leinestraße station in just a few meters. To the right, you'll find yourself heading towards Tempelhofer Feld, a vast park with small bars, plenty of space for jogging, skating, cycling, urban gardening, picnics, or simply enjoying the sunset.

Also very close by is the Volkspark Hasenheide, with its lovely playgrounds and a small, free zoo. The Schillerkiez is an ideal place to live, very popular, friendly, and international. There are charming cafes and restaurants, grocery stores, and a bio-market, all just around the corner. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, the popular Schiller Market takes place at Herrfurthplatz, with a focus on organic products. The U8 line quickly and directly connects you from Leinestraße to Berlin-Mitte or to the Ringbahn Hermannstraße, which is also just a 10-minute walk away. For long-distance travel, Südkreuz station is recommended, offering a direct and fast connection to BER airport or to long-distance trains on the north-south axis.
