The apartment is being rented for a fixed term of three years. The reason for this is that the owner will be living abroad, and upon their return, the apartment will be used by the owner again. The rental agreement will therefore be a qualified temporary lease agreement according to § 575 BGB, with the reason for the temporary nature being the owner's own use.
The apartment will be handed over partially furnished (designer furniture). A detailed inventory list will be provided with the rental agreement.
