Location
Siegburg is located on the right bank of the Rhine, 26 km from Cologne and 10 km from Bonn, on the banks of the Agger and Sieg rivers. Siegburg is considered a city that values tradition while also being modern. Siegburg has an ICE (high-speed train) station (Siegburg/Bonn station) on the Cologne-Rhine/Main high-speed line, which also serves regional trains and S-Bahn (suburban) lines on the Sieg line. Those traveling to Amsterdam, Munich, or Basel can conveniently remain on the train. The ICE train to Frankfurt Airport requires only 39 minutes without stopping. Four S-Bahn trains and regional trains run hourly to the center of Cologne. And Bonn is connected via tram line 66. The city center, with its historic marketplace and buildings, is easily navigable. The city is also known for its medieval Christmas market, which showcases traditional crafts.
Geography: Siegburg is located in a southeastern extension of the Cologne Bay and borders the hills of the Bergisches Land to the east, and the Westerwald and Siebengebirge regions to the south.
Motorway access: 1.5 km to the A 560/A 3 motorway; distance to Cologne is approximately 30 km, and distance to Bonn via the B 56 road is approximately 14 km. Public Transportation: Public transportation links are excellent. Bus stops, including the main bus station, and the ICE train station are located nearby and are within a 1-minute walk. Since June 2004, the S-Bahn (suburban railway) has also served the Cologne/Bonn Airport from Troisdorf. It's only 5 minutes away at the foot of the Michaelsberg. To the north, there are extensive forest areas and the Wahnbach reservoir. Wilhelmstrasse is located very close to the Siegburg market square, connecting the property to Siegburg's pedestrian zone. A covered public bicycle parking area is located directly opposite.
