I'm helping a good friend sell her family home, which is located in Altwigshagen am See, a beautiful area in Vorpommern-Greifswald. The house was built in 1953, and it sits on a 2,352 m² plot. There are also other buildings on the property, including a solid brick building of approximately 50 m², which is used as a garage and storage space for gardening equipment, etc. Additionally, there's another double garage with approximately 40 m². While the garage doors aren't the most modern, they do have a certain charm. The house, which has been partially renovated, has approximately 70 m² of living space on the ground floor and around 25 m² on the upper floor. In recent years, the windows throughout the house have been replaced with double-glazed plastic windows, some of which have exterior shutters. The security front door has also been replaced, and the heating system has been upgraded. In 2024, a modern gas heating system (natural gas) with a hot water tank was installed. There are no wind turbines or other disruptive factors in the very quiet residential area. The cobblestone street leading from the center of the village to the house shouldn't be a problem. I would like to mention that there is still some minor renovation work needed, but it is manageable. The large terrace in front of the entrance invites you to relax. Keeping pets is permitted. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking. In particular, the nearby lake offers opportunities for swimming, boating, or fishing. The listed purchase price is no longer negotiable.
