In 2020/21, we built a wooden house here in Markt Indersdorf, and we put a lot of time, thought, and passion into it – every decision, from the construction method to the placement of the windows, was made by us. ► Wood you can feel
We consciously chose a timber frame construction and natural materials – and you can feel the difference every day. Wood absorbs and releases moisture: the air is not as dry in the winter, and not as humid in the summer. And the wall surfaces feel noticeably warmer than brick or concrete, because wood doesn't draw heat away from the body as quickly. This indoor climate was the most important thing to us when building. ► Every room has its place
We spent a long time thinking about the layout before the first excavator arrived. The living spaces – the kitchen, dining area, and living room – are located on the south side, where sunlight streams in all day. We deliberately placed the more private spaces in the cooler, quieter areas of the house, so that each room can fulfill its intended purpose. ► Two terraces and a private garden
One terrace is directly connected to the dining room, and the second to the living room – together, they offer 25.5 m² of outdoor space. Behind them lies approximately 90 m² of garden, exclusively for the use of this apartment.
