Two separate rooms are available in a shared apartment (3 people) located between the old town and the Beitz campus.

A 10 square meter room (cold rent €250) and a 16 square meter room (cold rent €320) are available for rent starting June 1st, 2026. Both rooms have a separate entrance from the hallway (they are not pass-through rooms). The rental includes shared use of common areas, including a fitted kitchen, washing machine, refrigerator, hallway, and bathroom, as well as a cellar, garden, drying area, and bicycle storage. The apartment features a fitted kitchen and a bathroom with a shower/bathtub, toilet, and sink. The current roommates in this 3-person shared apartment are very friendly, and care is taken to ensure a good personal fit.

The neighborhood of Südlische Mühlenvorstadt is part of the city center district and is ideally located between the Old Town and Beitz-Platz (closer to the Old Town). The apartment is located on Vulkanstraße, in a quiet side street, and features a very large courtyard with parking spaces (available for rent) and a green area for relaxation. It's situated on the top floor, offering stunning views of the city. It's a 5-7 minute bike ride to the Old Town campus (e.g., Law, Humanities) and approximately 7-10 minutes to the Beitz-Platz campus (Medicine, Natural Sciences) – walking is also possible. There are shops (Aldi, Netto schwarz, Netto rot, Lidl, a health food store, and a convenience store) and restaurants (Alex Döner, Taj Mahal Inder, etc.) in the immediate vicinity.
