The house was built in 1904, so it no longer strictly falls under the Art Nouveau style, although the beautiful facade retains some of its characteristics. It was completely renovated and restructured in 2001, with all installations and the roof being renewed. Only the well-preserved historical staircase and the basement remained unchanged. The building is not a listed historical landmark. The facade was repainted in 2024. The house is fully basemented, and each of the 4 apartments has its own private storage space in the basement. The basement also houses the gas and electricity meters, as well as the satellite TV equipment. Adjacent to the entrance, there is a bicycle storage room, which also contains the waste containers. The hallway and staircase have been regularly renovated. There is a sufficient reserve fund in the building maintenance account to cover future cosmetic repairs, which is financed by the monthly building service charges. There is no elevator, so the apartment is only suitable for people who do not have any difficulty climbing stairs. The apartment was professionally renovated by a contractor at the beginning of 2026; all walls were repainted, and the solid wooden floor, made of larch wood, was sanded and sealed. This apartment, located on the 3rd floor, features a children's room/bedroom, a spacious bathroom, and a large kitchen/living area. A short staircase leads to the attic, which includes another room (previously used as a bedroom) and a hallway with access to a large rooftop garden offering panoramic views of Bonn. Bonn, Endenich, near the sports field and park (5-minute walk), with excellent public transport links (buses 604/605/606/607/631) to Bonn city center. Additionally, the "Kulturmeile Endenich" cultural district is a 10-minute walk away, offering several pubs and beer gardens, Endenich Castle as a venue, a library, and various shops, as well as several schools and kindergartens.
