All services, such as doctors, pharmacies, and banks, are also within a few minutes' walk. The large and well-known shopping center "Hamburger Meile," with over 150 stores from various industries, bars, and restaurants, as well as local doctors, is reachable on foot in about 12 minutes. By bike, it takes about 5 minutes. Here you can find everything your heart desires, from fashion, shoes, accessories, and jewelry to stationery, toys, and sporting goods. Fresh fish and meat products, as well as flowers, fruits, and vegetables, are always available on Wednesdays and Fridays at the weekly market on Straßburger Platz, near the "Frohbotschaftskirche" (Church of Good News). The public transportation connections are excellent. The "Dehnhaide" subway station, on line U3, is within a 9-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride. From here, it's easy and quick to reach Hamburg city center and the main train station.
