The 31-hectare lake with a depth of up to 14 m and a surrounding area of 35 hectares is located at an altitude of 330 m, surrounded by the forests of the Hochwald and on the edge of the village of Losheim. A large campsite with a family campsite, group campsite, youth campsite, 340 caravan pitches and the eco-village as well as the Seehotel with 85 beds and the Wohlfühlhotel with 120 beds are available for overnight stays directly on the lake.
