Location
The residential area is characterized by a quiet location at the end of the street, yet centrally located in Mildstedt.
There is a fast car and bicycle connection to Husum via the nearby cycle path. Mildstedt offers an excellent school (primary and community school) and all facilities for daily needs. Doctors, a pharmacy and shopping and dining facilities are less than 5 minutes' walk away. Other secondary schools and Husum town center can be reached within 15 minutes by bike. The nearest public transport stop is approx. 200m away. Mildstedt has a well-developed community and club system and is considered an extremely attractive place to live beyond the region.
Most of the central facilities of the district town of Husum (e.g. swimming pool) are also within easy reach (approx. 15 minutes by bike). Bathing and surfing spots on the North Sea can be reached in approx. 15 minutes by car and approx. 30 minutes by bike. There are also other bathing opportunities at the outdoor pool in Rantrum and the Treene in Schwabstedt are easily accessible by bike.
Mildstedt is centrally located between Sankt-Peter-Ording and Sylt as well as the North Frisian Islands and is an ideal starting point for day trips to these places. The Husum train station is also about 10 minutes by bike from the house.
