In the middle of the beautiful natural landscape of the island of Usedom, the vacation home is located in the small historic fishing village of Loddin between the Achterwasser (400 m) and the extensive sandy beach in front of the Baltic Sea in Kölpinsee (2 km). Loddin is part of the amber spa town of Kölpinsee and is the ideal starting point for swimming, hiking and cycling and has everything you need for a perfect vacation: supermarket, bakery, doctors, spa clinic, train station, bus stop, restaurants, boat and bike rental, tourist information and much more. You can get to the famous imperial spas of Heringsdorf, Ahlbeck and Bansin quickly and easily by car or by taking the UBB (Bäderbahn).
The Amber Spa, the Heringsdorf treetop walk, Karl's Strawberry Farm, the climbing forest in Ückeritz and the Balmer See golf course are other nearby excursion destinations on the island.
If you like to eat out, the well-known fish restaurant "Waterblick" is just a 10-minute walk away and offers excellent regional cuisine, freshly caught fish and a fantastic view of the Achterwasser. In "Kikis Bootsverleih", the beautifully situated beer garden in Loddin, you can also book boat tours with pedal boats or motorboats. We also recommend the "Café Knatter" in the neighboring village of Ückeritz. Heringsdorf also has several Michelin-starred and fine dining restaurants for gourmets.
