The representative building, which shapes the cityscape, was completed in its current size and structure around 1911. The building is centrally located next to the market square.
In 1995, the building underwent a thorough renovation and improvement:
Renewal of the roof covering, windows, heating, electrical and sanitary installations.
Great importance was attached to preserving the historic façade and interior.
In 2009, as part of the last change of ownership, the property was converted into a residential home for people suffering from dementia.

Residents are cared for around the clock by a home care service.
When residents change, the new tenant is selected by the care service. All apartments have been let continuously since the property was completed.
The residents each have an apartment rental contract with the owner and a separate care contract with the home care service. As a result, the property does not fall under the nursing home ordinance.
