Location
The property is located on the outskirts of Flieden in an attractive residential area. Flieden with its 8 districts is beautifully situated in a valley depression, north-east of the Landrücken, the link between the foothills of the Vogelsberg in the west and the Rhön in the east. This low mountain range landscape with mixed forests and farmland offers wide views of the surrounding mountains with its highest elevations, the Knöschen (509m) near Buchenrod and the Storker Küppel (470m) near Oberstork.
The municipality of Flieden lies on the southern edge of the district of Fulda and borders the municipality of Neuhof to the north and Kalbach to the east. To the south, it borders the towns of Schlüchtern and Steinau an der Straße, both of which are in the Main-Kinzig district.
The center of Flieden has a good infrastructure with various shopping facilities, kindergartens, a youth center, churches, banks, doctors, restaurants and stores. There is an elementary school in the main town with a secondary school attached - and elementary school in some districts. Secondary education is provided by the comprehensive school in Neuhof, five general and three vocational grammar schools, as well as three vocational schools in Fulda.
Flieden has its own junction (50) to the BAB 66 Frankfurt-Fulda. From Flieden station, you can take the Interregio train to neighboring Fulda in just a few minutes. From the Fulda ICE train station, you can reach the Rhine-Main area in approx. 30 minutes and Frankfurt Airport in approx. 45 minutes.
