Merzdorf is a district of the Saxon town of Riesa in the district of Meißen.
The former village is located northwest of the old town center of Riesa and is crossed by the Döllnitz, which flows into the Elbe via the harbor basin of Riesa harbor. The village lies on the southern bank of the small river.
