1-bedroom apartment with a terrace, new bathroom, and parking space in Hohenecken.

Starting November 1st, 2026, we will be renting out our 1-bedroom apartment in Kaiserslautern-Hohenecken, with no fixed term and without any agency fees, directly from the private landlord.

The apartment is located in a small apartment building with 8 units (built in 1990). It offers approximately 30 square meters of living space, including a living/dining area with a kitchenette, a hallway, a storage room, and a bathroom with a shower and a window, which was recently renovated in 2026. From the living area, you have access to a terrace; you are also welcome to use the garden, which is a communal garden and not separated from the other residents.

Included are a private storage room in the basement and a parking space in front of the building, which is included in the rent.

The apartment is unfurnished, with only the kitchenette provided.

The apartment is ideally suited for one person. We are looking for reliable tenants with a stable income who are looking for a long-term rental. It may be possible to move in with support from the job center, provided the rent is paid directly to us.

Quiet residential area in Hohenecken, directly on the edge of the Palatinate Forest. Hohenecken Castle is approximately 550 meters away, and the Gelterswoog lake, ideal for swimming, is about 4 minutes away by car or by bus line 111.

Public Transport: The Hohenecken train station is about 13 minutes' walk away. The RB64 regional train runs hourly, taking 7 minutes to reach Kaiserslautern Central Station. The "Im Kunzental" bus stop is about 8 minutes' walk away; bus line 111 runs every 30 minutes during the day from Monday to Saturday, and approximately hourly on Sundays (about 25 minutes to the city center). The N4 night bus also operates.

By Car: The city center and central station are about 12 minutes away, the RPTU University is about 11 minutes away, the A6 motorway exit KL-West is about 3.5 km away, and the B270 road runs directly through the town. Opel/Stellantis is about 7 minutes away, the Westpfalz Clinic is about 11 minutes away, Vogelweh is about 8 minutes away, and Ramstein Air Base is about 21 minutes away.

The town offers a bakery, post office, savings bank, general practitioner, primary school, and daycare center. There is no supermarket in the town itself; Globus and the markets on Merkurstraße (Aldi, Penny, dm, Müller) are about 8 minutes away by car.

Internet: According to the broadband atlas, cable internet up to 1,000 Mbit/s and VDSL up to 250 Mbit/s are available in the area. Please check the specific availability at your address with the provider.
