The approx. 130 m2 ground floor accommodates a very spacious living room with integrated cooking island, a pantry and two rooms that were planned as an office. There is also a shower in the guest toilet. The five bedrooms and a further shower room are located on the upper floor. The "master bedroom" with en-suite bathroom and dressing room offers sweeping views across the garden to Lake Drielak. All rooms on the ground and upper floors are fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a very bright and friendly overall impression. A further guest toilet completes the basement. Like the two floors above ground, the entire basement is equipped with underfloor heating and laid with the same high-quality tiles. The ceiling height is approx. 2.40 m, which creates a very homely atmosphere overall and there is no "basement feeling".
The bicycle / motorcycle garage can be reached from the entrance area and the garden and has a staircase that ends in the utility room in the basement.
The living room/kitchen area leads directly onto the south-west terrace, at the end of the living room the floor-to-ceiling windows with real wood frames open onto the south-east terrace and directly on to the spacious, park-like garden and from there on to the lake and the circular hiking trail.

We had the house planned and built in 2008 with foresight and architectural finesse. All materials are high-quality and durable, the insulation exceeds today's standards and the geothermal heating makes the house completely independent of fossil fuels; the house is CO2-neutral. Solar panels can be installed on the roof to optimize energy independence.
The fully equipped fitted kitchen has electric and gas hobs, two ovens, a large fridge/freezer combination and a dishwasher; the appliances are from Bosch and Miele. Generous cupboard solutions with pharmacy cupboards, drawer systems and shelves offer plenty of space for crockery and provisions.
Location
Directly adjacent to the idyllic Drielaker See nature reserve and yet only three km from Oldenburg city center, you can reach all of Oldenburg's amenities and supply facilities on foot, by bike or motorized in just a few minutes. Both the A 28 and A 29 highways are only about 7 minutes away by car, from where you are well connected to Bremen, Osnabrück, Emden/Leer or Wilhelmshaven/Jever. A natural kindergarten is about 300 m away, an elementary school about 1 km. Due to the cul-de-sac location, there is very little traffic and children often play in the street or on the nearby playgrounds, the beach volleyball court or in nature at the fishing lake.
As a former residential town, Oldenburg is characterized by attractive buildings in the classical style. Various cabaret theaters, the Oldenburg State Theatre, the Horst Janssen Museum, the Royal Palace and several other venues characterize Oldenburg's cultural life, as do the Film Festival, the Kulturetage, the Weser-Ems-Halle and the numerous open-air concerts in summer.
