- Unit 1 (first floor + vaulted cellar): Rented to the specialist wine store "Der Weinladen Idstein - Fey & Grüninger".
- Unit 2 (upper floor + attic): Connected unit, currently used as an office by the town of Idstein. The top floor is basically also suitable for residential use and was rented out as a vacation apartment in the past. A bathroom and kitchen were installed on the top floor in March 2017. The upper floor currently has no sanitary facilities; retrofitting is possible in principle.

Construction & character

Condition & measures
Extensive renovation and conversion work was carried out in 2001. The bathroom and kitchen on the top floor were installed in March 2017. The façade was extensively renovated again in 2024/2025. The technical equipment includes two separate heating systems: system 1 for the first floor + vaulted cellar (renewed 11/2023) and system 2 for the 1st floor + attic (renewed 06/2022).

Id­stein train station offers regional connections to Frankfurt am Main and Wiesbaden/Limburg. The connection to the Rhine-Main area is very good via the B275 and the A3 (Idstein junction).
