The town of Nauen has numerous schools, doctors' surgeries, the Havellandklinik, various restaurants, youth clubs, sports studios, the municipal swimming pool, the open-air theater - and is famous for its annual Hofweihnacht (Christmas festival) on the 3rd Advent. Nauen has an established town center dating back to the Middle Ages, but is growing on the outskirts to the south and north, as Berlin is only half an hour away by car.
The surrounding area is ideal for leisure activities in the countryside, with numerous lakes and forests nearby.
